In light of our upcoming marriage, it seems fitting that we embody our ideals of equality and partnership in the blogosphere. Therefore, we’ve moved over all our historical content to our new blog, Gluten Free Mountain Folk. This blog, Gluten Free Mountain Man is being retired in light of this new venture. Enjoy your kitchens!
Alas, no natural light was available when this one was ready to pop out of the oven. However, the taste was fantastic. I am looking forward to adding fresh thyme later this season!
Sorry for the lack of posting recently–we’re in the heat of the summer here in Montana, and Rabi and I are frantically trying to pack in as many activities as possible before we move to Vermont next week. But I wanted to share this photo of a beautiful salad Rabi’s brother made us on a recent trip to Portland. Summers are perfect for salads–our lettuce is going crazy and edible flowers (you’ll see borage and nasturtiums in the salad below) are blooming. Also, making your own salad dressing is a great, thrifty idea. Dressing can be as simple or as complex as you want to make it, and it’s a wonderful way to save some money. So enjoy!
